Tim Sanchez, was born in Berkeley and raised in East Oakland by a Puerto Rican mother and a Mexican-American father surrounded by a large family deeply ingrained in East Bay communities.

His diverse experiences inform the priorities he’ll bring with him to Congress for 12th district residents: creating economic opportunity for working families; expanding health care for all residents; and protecting and strengthening our democracy from MAGA extremists and anyone else who threatens it.
